Artistic director and resident choreographer of the
Companions Ballets "A. Rendano "

He began his dance studies in 1980 at the International Center of Dance in Cosenza, directed by Isabella Sisca, with teachers coming from the Opera House in Bucharest, including Magdalena Popa, Prima Ballerina of the same theater, and now teaches at the National Ballet of Canada, and Amatto Checiulescu, also a Principal Dancer and later director of the Bucharest Opera House, now a lecturer at the National Ballet School of Canada.
From 1985 to 1994 Stefano De Gaetano was important exponent of the Ballet Company "A. Rendano ", founded by Isabella Sisca and only ballet company officially recognized by the Ballet of the Calabria region, distinguished by its versatility interpretation. In this period he worked with teachers and dancers of international level, including Ivan and Liliana Tzanov Dragouleva the Opera House in Sofia, Ivonne Goubè and Gilbert Meyer of the Paris Opera House, Guy de Bock of the Opera Augsburg, Jozo Borcic the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Diana Ferrara of the Rome Opera, Radu Ciuca the Opera of Cluj.
In this period he has performed with the Ballet Company "A. Rendano "in numerous shows and festivals, not only in Italy but also abroad, as in 1988 during a tour in Canada.
Since 1986, Stefano De Gaetano has also begun the task of teaching the technique at the International Centre of Classical Dance directed by Isabella Cosenza Sisca, contributing to the formation of several students who are now professionals in various ballet companies, including Mariafrancesca Garritano, former soloist at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Andrea Volpintesta dancer at La Scala in Milan, Alessandro Makes dancer at the Opera of Rome; Pasquale Guglielmelli dancer in various musical Riccardo Cocciante, Eliana Guglielmelli, a dancer in various musical theater, Luke Lake, dancer with the company "Ballet of the South" of Lecce.
Backed up by a teacher and dancer, Stefano De Gaetano was also dedicated to choreography, proving immediately attractive qualities.

In 1990 he was assistant choreographer Luciano Cannito, in the creation of the ballet "Memoirs mind: Myths and Legends of Calabria," the first ballet dedicated to the history of Calabria, produced by Ballet Company "A. Rendano "and represented at the Festival dei due Mari Mediterranean Altomonte (CS), then in the 1990-1991 Opera Season Theatre A. Rendano of Cosenza.
Between 1992 and 2000 he taught several courses in Classical Technique Regional Vocational Training, managed and organized by the Ballet Company "A. Make it.
In 1993 he played for the Company "A. Make "ballet" Fantasies of Pinocchio "by the will of the choreographer, who died later, Giancarlo Advantage.
Since 2000, he became the artistic director of the Company "A. Rendano ", which is also resident choreographer, contributing significantly to raising the level of preparation of the technical and artistic dancers who have been part of.
In 2002 he reached the final of the Contest of Choreography in Florence with his creation "A slight Hiss," with music by A. Mansurov.
In 2003, the Theatre "Garden" di Rende (CS), staged for the Company "A. Rendano ", together with the Belgian choreographer Guy de Bock, the show" I, intimate stranger, "with great success.
In 2004 he was a guest with the Company "A. Make "at the Teatro Mercadante in Naples, at a gala International, with its choreography" The Sea ", on the homonymous composition of C. Debussy.
In August 2005, during a course of training in Komiza, Croatia, has received an award for his career as a teacher and choreographer.
In October 2006 he was guest teacher at the Columbus Centre in Toronto, Canada.
In June 2007 he made a choreography commissioned by the goldsmith Gerardo Sacco, for the celebrations of 40 years of the same master.
In 2008 he was the official choreographer of the 50 th Carnival Castrovillari.
In 2009 and 2010 he participated with his company "A. Make "the Prize" Stefano Valentini, "held at Teatro A. Rendano of Cosenza, enjoying considerable success with his choreography.
